 My shooting style is mainly documentary; kind of off the cuff capturing the day rather than staging every shot. Leaving me to my own devices allows my creative and artistic juices to simply flow. That said some couples do ask for a little direction and I’m happy to guide where needs be.

Y O U R   I M A G E S - U S B  &  P R I N T S   

Its your call. Images are downloadable or available on a USB Memory Stick. Images will be edited and ready to print. Prints are also included in my packages. They also come with the release rights for you to print and produce at your own wish.

H O W   D O  W E   B O O K ?  

Bookings are made on a 1st come 1st served basis so act quickly. Bookings are taken well in advance, sometimes around 18 to 24 months prior. If you’d like to take your enquiry to the next stage then please get in touch. Either complete the enquiry form, email or call me. I’ll check the date for my availability and reply as soon as I can. There’s a small bit of paperwork to compete as well as a booking fee to pay. Only on completion of both does the booking become official. 

P A Y M E N T   P L A N S ? 

Yes, sure thing. Once the initial booking fee has been paid you can choose a payment period and amount to pay towards your balance. I will send email reminders and payment trackers, along with an invoice breakdown. This PP wont be a binding contract so if you wish to amend or have a break from your chosen payment plan you can do so. Unless prearranged* your balance is due 3 months before your big day.

*In some circumstances part payment of your balance can be paid after your wedding. Please ask for further details. NB No images are released until full payment has been received.

W H A T   I S   T H E   B E S T   W A Y   F O R   G R O U P    S H O T S ?   

I generally find its best to start with a photo of everyone straight after the ceremony, this way everyone is still around and present. Then I normally let everyone mingle before starting  group shots approx. 30mins prior to guests being seated. Although it is a personal preference from couple to couple. I do recommend listing groups in a priority order and keeping them to a minimum. Pass a copy to your Ushers & Best Man to round them up. I’m more than happy to call and request guest come forward but I prefer to be shooting rather than shouting. It’ll also save you on time.

Taking time out away from your guests is recommended and usually 20 minutes or so is plenty. I’m happy to go through some simple poses and tips during the consultation session  to help you feel comfortable. Also my main package includes a pre-wedding shoot which is great to use to get comfortable in front of the camera.  If I’m with you all day through to your 1st dance then the time between your wedding breakfast/ speeches is an ideal opportunity to shoot the portraits. Most couples are more relaxed at this time, easing the pressure off the main part of the day. Technically it can also be a finer light to shoot in.

D O   Y OU   C O V E R   B R I D A L   P R E P ? 

100% yes. Its one of the most pleasurable parts for the day. Capturing the emotional rollercoaster of fun, laughter, nerves and tears certainly helps document and tell a fuller story. If required by the bride this is also an opportunity to capture the finer details of the bride’s dress and her accessories.

H O W   M A N Y   I M A G E S  D O  W E    R E C I E V E  ? 

Expect anywhere between 500 to 700, sometimes more. There’s no limit to the number of images I provide as each wedding is unique and the number of images usually reflect on the days events. All usable images are also edited to the highest professional standards.

 

H O W   L O N G   U N T I L  W E   C A N   S E E   T H E   I M A G E S ? 

All usable images are edited to meet the highest professional standards. Each wedding takes a few weeks of editing from start till finish, allowing for day to day running of the business . During peak season images usually take 8 to 12 weeks.

W HA T   H A P P E N S   I F   I   A M   P O O R L Y  ? 

Touch wood, I’ve never missed a wedding. In the case of illness I would do my absolute best to provide a equivalent replacement. I have a lot of photographer friends who all help each other out.  I’m fortunate to be associated with many high-end professionals who I can call on. Covering your wedding would be my priority. 

D O   Y O U   H A V E   B A C K  U P   E Q U I P M E N T ?

Yes. I use the best quality kit and carry more than ample lenses, SD cards, camera’s etc.
